This hotel is a gem in the heart of a charming town. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with a lovely view of the old square. The staff provides fantastic attention and service, going above and beyond to accommodate guests. The breakfast, including delicious omelettes, is a great start to the day. One of the things I appreciated was the owner's willingness to help with onward travel arrangements, ensuring a hassle-free stay.

Parking can be a hassle, and guests may need to park a distance away from the hotel.

I was thrilled to visit the Church of Our Lady of Pamele in Oudenaarde, and choosing De Zalm Hotel for its convenient location was a great decision. I was pleasantly surprised by the large range of facilities offered at the hotel, including a restaurant that can accommodate up to 60 guests, as well as party and meeting rooms for different opportunities. The separate bar was a definite plus, and I greatly enjoyed the on-site restaurant and the delicious breakfast served in the morning.

Our arrival at midnight was slightly inconvenient. We had to wait 10 minutes until someone let us in, and when we asked for a drink, we were told that people had to sleep.
